Update on "Baby B"

I went to the doctor yesterday for my first OB visit. I had an ultrasound and we were able to see the baby's heartbeat very clearly. It was so exciting! We are officially due on August 4th. It's hard to believe that this is all happening again already but we are so happy to be growing again. We love Sean and Matthew so much and can't wait to love another child as well. Now I'm counting down the days until we can find out if it's a BOY or GIRL. 1...2...3... ha, ha.

We're growing again!

Our family will be growing by one more next year! Danny and I are having another baby! We are very excited about our forthcoming blessing. It's a little scary though since Matthew will only be 22 months when this baby gets here. I'm definitely going to have my hands full. Please pray for a safe and healthy pregnancy. We will be due either at the end of July or beginning of August.

The Construction has begun!

Danny and Sean tore out a wall in our bonus room today to get started on turning it into a space that will be both Sean's new room and my office. We've got lots of ideas which is going to make this a very functional space. I can't wait for it to get finished!

Thanksgiving Trip

This year we went to Charlotte, NC to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with Danny's Aunt Judy, Uncle Andy, and his cousins. His mom and Fernando and Kyle drove up from Florida so we got to spend time with them too. We always love Thanksgiving at Judy's. This year we made chocolate dipped candy canes. It was fun but very, very messy. Andy had this cool game for the PS2. It's called Dance Revolution Supernova. It was so much fun we had to buy one to bring home with us, ha ha! It was a wonderful trip.

Hanging Out With Dad

We spent a lazy afternoon at home. The boys just hung out with dad. Matthew had a great time playing in Danny's shoes. Does this mean he wants to be like dad when hes grows up?

Nicaragua Photos

It's taken awhile to get these photos up and we are sorry. Our schedules have been crazy for the past few weeks. Thank you to everyone that supported Danny both financially and with prayers for his mission. It's amazing to be loved and blessed by so many. There are alot of photos here but alot more that we left out. Seeing these pictures of how these families live really makes us appreciate what we have.

Fresh Paint

While Danny was in Nicaraugua I decided to paint the house! I'm not ordinarily a painter but I think I did a pretty good job. My mom was here to help with Matthew so I was able to get it all done in just four days! Lorinda and Joe came to help me one night too. Thank you both! It really makes a big difference in the house. And the best part is you can't see finger prints on the wall anymore!

Happy Halloween!!!

This Halloween we went trick or treating in the neighborhood rather than going to the Fall Festival at church. The Rivers' family came over and walked with us. Matthew caught on to the door to door concept real quick. It was so funny. The boys made out like bandits!

Seeing Spots

Matthew woke up with a funky rash yesterday morning. I had to take pics because it was so crazy! The doc said he's probably just fighting a virus off and he'd be okay. It never itched and is almost completely gone now. Nuts right?

Gentry's Farm

Mom visited to help me with the boys while Danny was in Nicaraugua. We took them to Genty's Farm. We went on a hayride and did some different activities on the farm. It was a nice day.

Here are some pics that were taken a few weeks back. There are some really good one's of Sean pitching. And of Matthew eating since that's what seems to keep him happy as of late.

Prayer Request

Hey friends and family,
We've got some big things coming up in our lives and I would like to ask for prayer.

I am taking my certification exam this Saturday and I am very, very nervous about it. I woke up at 4:15 this morning because of anxiety over it. Please pray for me to have peace in the days leading up to my test and for God to grant me the knowledge to pass!

Also, on a bigger note, my wonderful husband is leaving for Nicaragua on the 13Th! Please pray for him and the others from our church that are going too. Pray for him to be safe and to stay healthy and to be successful in teaching those precious children about Jesus.

And last but not least, please pray for me and our children while he is away. It's going to be tough without daddy for a week.

Thank you for praying for us. You all are always in our hearts and our prayers. We love you all!

Family Pictures

We had some pictures taken a few weeks back while my parents were here. We went ahead and did Matthew's one year, a family photo, and some pics of our parents with the boys. Here is the link to look at them http://alloganphoto.smugmug.com/gallery/3540299#200367397.
I really liked the way they turned out. We haven't had a family photo done since Sean was a little over a year old. We were well over due, ha ha.

Last week was the annually held Cheetah Week at Sean's school. Every day was something new to do. They had Crazy Day, Sports Day, Pajama Day, Hat Day, and Spirit Day. Then on Friday they had the Cheetah Fest where there is lots for the kids to do. It's lots of fun. Here's some pics that were take during the week.

Matthew's Birthday Photos

Matthew's first birthday was Saturday, September 15th. I absolutely cannot believe that my baby is one year old already! His birthday bash was held at Evans Park. Matthew eating cake was the highlight of the party. He dug right in. Lots of fun was had playing on the playground with the slides and swings. Family and friends came to celebrate with us. His friend Brock was there too. He turned one two days later so after Matthew's party we went to Brock's. We were all caked out that day!

Grandma and Grandpa Visit

Grandma and Grandpa came to Tennessee for Matthew's 1st birthday. The boys had a great time visiting with them. Grandma bought Matthew this really cute Leap Frog Phone and taught him to hold it to his ear and talk. So cute!

Sean's Game

Sean had his first ball game of the fall season yesterday. The league he is in for the 9-10 years old is kid pitch which is very different from the machine pitch that he is used to. He played very well yesterday. He got to pitch 1 and 1/2 innings and struck out a few kids. He has an awesome breaking ball. We think Sean has found his calling. He was pumped. Then when his team was up he got the oppurtunity to steal home plate! We ending up losing the game by one run but the kids played great and it was lots of fun. I even give credit to the coach for keeping his cool during the last inning. It was intese, ha ha.

Look At Me!

At just 11 months old Matthew is walking. He's been taking 2-4 steps for the past few weeks but this weekend he started to really get the hang of things. And today, he took off. It's so exciting yet so sad that time is going so fast. Now I just wonder, "What will he get into next??"
