Catching Up...

Matthew had a good time with this! I didn't know he could dunk but he did it like a pro. I've also learned that he likes to pull his oreos apart and eat them from the inside out.

Sean had a project at school where he had to create his own business product and sell it. He and his friend, Matthew, decided to have a co-partnership and sell "Awesome Origami". They made paper airplanes, fans, footballs, and jumping frogs. Here are some pics from market night at school. The frogs were really popular.

Are You Ready?

This video was shown at our church on Sunday and it really put things into perspective. Turn your speakers way up and pay close attention. It happens fast and I don't want you to miss it!

Marlins shut down Angels 16-7

Spring is here and that means so is baseball. Sean had his first game Monday night and they put a hurting on the other team. He and the other boy that pitched in the game both had two innings where the other team could not hit the ball therefore keeping them from scoring. I was really impressed with Sean's catching. The boy that pitched to him has a fast ball and he was able to catch it every time! We were a bit worried because the team has barely practiced due to all the rain we've have but overall they played very well. Here are some pics of our STAR PLAYER in action.

5 Little Fishes

Okay, you may think this is corny but I think it's fun. I found a toddler curriculum that I have started to follow this week to help Matthew learn some basic things, i.e shapes, colors, maybe some letters. Anyway, to go along with the curriculum I made a felt board to use as a visual aid. This weeks theme was the ocean so I made some fish for the board and there is a cute little rhyme that I used with the fish. Matthew loves it! He normally laughs harder than this but because I was holding the camera he was focusing on me. I'm so glad he likes this method though because I'm not having much luck with books.

"Geology Rocks"

Sean was in a performance at school on Tuesday night called "Geology Rocks". They've been studying rocks at school. His class represented volcanos hence the red shirts and khaki pants. Their hats are supposed to be the spewing lava. It was really a great performance. I'm very proud of him.

Play Time!

We took a brief trip to the playground today in between rain showers. Matthew had fun playing with his little buddy, Brock. The slide was the perfect size for them.
