Recomitted

I drug myself back to WW this week. There is a new meeting in Spring Hill so it is really convenient. I have to get in control of my life in regards to everything. Meaning housework, organization, work, kids, eating habits, and exercise. Things have been out of control for a while now.

I've been praying to God to take away my stresses and bear burdens and he is answering. I've been able to make time for myself and still get stuff done. I've made it to the rec center a few times this week and have been on program 100%. Did the Wii fit a few times too. BTW, it's awesome. Doing the Hula Hoop is my fav thus far.

I signed us up for E-Mealz and that has been awesome. They give you a weeks worth of menus based on what's on sale at your store. And if you select it, they will give you a points based menu. I was a little nervous about it because my guys are a little picky but they've really liked everything I've made this far. Check it out at www.e-mealz.com.

We Skate

My friend, Andrea, told us about this roller skating arena near her house in Lewisburg. You can skate and have all you can eat pizza on Tuesday and Thursday nights for $5. It's their family nights. And on the third Thursday of each month it's Christian night. Last night there was a youth group there hanging out. It was a good atmosphere and Sean had fun. It was about 20 miles from our house going south on I-65. We will be going back again. We might try to have a Sunday School outing on Christian night in March.

Lovey Dovey Day

For Valentine's Day and to celebrate Charlie's BIG 40TH birthday Danny, Lorinda, Charlie, and I all went downtown for the evening. We had a yummy dinner at Big River and then walked over to the Sommet Center for a Predators Hockey game. We had a fun night and I enjoyed the time away from my little crumb snatchers.

Bad, bad blogger

That's what I think of myself. I am totally neglecting my blog! Here's our latest recap.

A friend of ours did us a huge favor and put hard wood floors down in our house. Our carpet had seen better days. We put in Cherry Bamboo and it looks great. If anyone needs their floors done we know someone that can do it.

I want to say thank you to whomever it was that made a donation to the church to support Danny's trip to Nicaragua. We are still in shock and so grateful. God is awesome!

I also have some interesting news. I apparently have a half uncle that lives in Germany. My grandfather served in WWII over there and seems to have fathered a child that noone knew about. I'm excited about this and I am looking forward to getting to know my new German family.

The winner of the Nintendo Wii is announced in this drawing. Congratulations to you and when I come to visit I expect you to be practiced up on your bowling skills.

Thank you to everyone that participated in the Wii Raffle. We raised $230 to go towards Danny's mission trip. This is a big help. God bless you!

Time is running out

Update

I haven't done a very good job of keeping my blog up to date lately. I feel like I'm going crazy with everything I have to do but if you ask me what I've been up to I don't think I could tell you, ha ha. So here is a post with some pictures and what's been going on.

We celebrated Sean's 10Th birthday on January 24Th at Laser Chase. I loved the way it worked out. You pay, they play, and you go home. Easy as pie.

You gotta be quick to blow out those candles. Matthew is waiting in the wings for his chance.

A little bit of the action

The gang

Chase is 6 months old now and has started eating solids. The boy really enjoys his grub. Here he is chowing on a biter biscuit. At his well visit last week he weighed 15lbs 2oz.
He is also sitting up well enough to take a big boy bath with his brother
And of course big brother has to see if he can fit in the baby seat
